Townhead Farm, in the hamlet of Keisley, is an 18th century farmhouse and barns which for most of its life has been involved in sheep and cattle farming. At the beginning of the century Townhead Farm included more than 200 acres of farmland but over the years this has been reduced to its present 11 acres.
The farm has many visitors including roe deer, red squirrels, tawny and barn owls, woodpeckers and a host of smaller birds.
